Maria Thibault, PT, ATC

Physical Therapist & Owner

Maria is a seasoned clinician who has specialized in sports medicine in the Greater Burlington area for over 30 years.  She has worked at the University of Vermont, treating students, athletes, faculty and staff.  She maintains this close relationship as college health is one of her keen interests.  She particularly enjoys the club sport athlete.  She is also an adjunct professor at UVM teaching courses in Rehabilitation and Clinical Education in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.  One of her passions is Ultimate Frisbee.  Although she does not play, she enjoys taking care of this community and its teams.  She is very involved in the organization of high school ultimate, and will follow her daughter, Kait, to tournaments across the country.

Additionally, she has spent a significant amount of time over the past 10 years developing PT 360’s Post Concussion Program, and was one of the founders of the Vermont Concussion Collaboration.  She enjoys treating patients as part of a team, which is critical with this unique population.  Maria’s strength is designing exercise programs that fit into the lifestyles of her patients regardless of their place in life.  She encourages all her patients to become active participants in their rehabilitation.  When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family: Tim, Daniel, Kaitlyn, and Julia.  She loves to exercise, read, cook, travel, and plan parties!
